The Reverend Dr. Jeffrey R. Newhall is the president of Consultation on Church Union (COCU) and pastor of Greendale People's Community Church of Worcester, Massachusetts. Dr. Newhall is past executive director of the International Council of Community Churches and has served in parish ministry for more than 20 years in Connecticut, Massachusetts, Washington, D.C. and New York. During many of those years, he also served as a pastoral psychotherapist.

Dr. Newhall has received degrees from Andover Newton Theological School, with additional training and the Jungian Institute and with Edwin Friedman.

In 1996, Morehouse College inducted him into the Martin Luther King, Jr. Board of Preachers.
